Eagle Appeal NEWS APRIL 2011
EAGLE APPEAL FUND
Registered Charity 1099667
Annual Report December 2011
We kick started our purchases for 2012 with a fabulous Interactive Floor for our multi sensory studio. A few adaptations were required in the studio to fit this exciting computerised flooring but it’s been a big hit with our pupils and has endless potential as a teaching aid making it a valuable contribution and money well spent.

We’ve also ordered two new ‘longer’ Acheeva work stations just released onto the market to enhance the school’s current supply. These work stations enable learning for our non ambulant pupils in comfort. As some of our young people are so tall, longer stations have become necessary. Suppliers have responded to this need and new models are due next month. At £6,500.00 each, without support from our charity, the school could not afford such luxury. Once again, thanks to our supporters for making these purchases possible!
In addition to the resources and specialist purchases our Charity has funded this year, the Eagle Appeal Fund is subsidising the student’s planned residential trips in the summer term ensuring these are affordable for parents and carers.

We are also fully funding our Rock Challenge entry on 18th of April due to the amazing sponsorship raised by the 3 Peaks Challenge Team at H&S Aviation. Their efforts secured £4,856.42 towards our appeal fund and their support is ongoing as they have adopted our charity for 2012. We are excited and looking forward to working with staff at H&S Aviation over the coming 12 months.
ABOUT OUR RECENTLY COMPLETED PROJECT
Musical Playground Equipment for our playgrounds has been the focus for our appeal this past 10 months. Now complete, we have some wonderful, beautifully made instruments that all the pupils can access. The musical trail is supported by a Stop and Sing Bus stop.

A big thank you to all our supporters - without you this fabulous work could not be achieved.
